Dr. Wole is a professional member of the American Physical
Therapy Association APTA), Chartered Physiotherapist and registered member of Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, UK, a clinical
specialist with the Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists, an Ergonomist,
and a Rehabilitation Specialist. He bagged his first degree in Bachelor of
Physiotherapy from College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and obtained his
Master’s degree in Physiotherapy (Athletic Therapy known as Sports Medicine)
from the National University of Medical Sciences, Spain. He went further to
obtain a Doctor of Physiotherapy (DPT) at the National University of Medical
Sciences, USA.
Dr. Wole has gained extensive experience working in both the
public and private sectors with over fifteen years of cumulative working
experience in a variety of clinical settings in Nigeria and the first world
countries outside the shores of Nigeria. He is the founder and clinic
director of Optima Health Physio Consult, one of the leading physiotherapy
clinics in Nigeria with a keen interest in quality Physiotherapy, Acupuncture,
office ergonomics, and related rehabilitation services, as well as building a
team of self-motivated, highly-skilled physiotherapists.
Dr. Wole worked at the University of Abuja Teaching Hospital
for over 8 years as a Principal Physiotherapist where he specialized in the
treatment of persons with neurological impairments including multiple
sclerosis, stroke, Parkinson's disease, spinal cord injury, and brain injury.
His particular area of expertise is in stroke, spinal cord injury, and
musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
Dr. Wole has completed many post-graduate courses namely,
Orthopedic Clinical Examination, Diagnosis, and Treatment: Becoming an Expert,
Becoming a spine specialist; Series of Evidence-Based Examination and Treatment
of the Lumbar Spine, Cervical, thoracic, Medical Acupuncture, etc.
